Released by Motown in 1972, The Temptations' Solid Rock features vocals by Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin, Otis Williams, Damon Harris, and Richard Street. A #1 Soul LP smash, it was the first recorded by the group without original lead singers Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams.
