He was particularly renowned as an interpreter of the keyboard music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Gould's playing was distinguished by his remarkable technical proficiency and his capacity to articulate the polyphonic texture of Bach's music. This release presents Gould's complete original 1955 rendition of Bach's Goldberg Variations (Columbia, ML-5060).
