More Info:

New single from the Venezuelan Ska Jazz Messengers band, composed of two instrumental tunes with that sound and groove that only SJM can deliver. Head Over Heels is a cover from an old Tears For Fears 80's hit single that the band takes wisely to their own world surrounded by a stunning team, both in the technical and musical parts. As Rafa (guitar player) recalls: "It is inspired by Jackie Mittoo and the 70's black music". On the A side the title track, Head Over Heels, featuring Nasser Bouzida (Big Boss Man / The Bongolian / Big Boss Sound) on Hammond organ and Esteban Descalzo's (Kingston Factory) mix and production. On the B side, there is an exclusive unreleased track entitled 'Bahía de Las Reflexiones', a sparkling Ska Jazz that invites the listener to reflect, and relax with it's hypnotic melody. Recreating in it's textures and colors the wet sand, the sea waves, and the sunset through modern Synths, Wurlitzer piano, 60's surf guitars, and even a Steel Pan, a West Indian instrument that appears for the first time in the Venezuelan band's tone thanks to the US musician Aaron Abrahamson Cote (Panoramic View) Deluxe edition with full-color jacket and inner sleeve.
