Robert Mitchum (Out of the Past, The Night of the Hunter, The Longest Day, The Enemy Below) takes the wheel as Korean War veteran Lucas Doolin in the gripping noir-tinged crime drama, Thunder Road. Inspired by an original story written by Mitchum himself, Thunder Road follows Lucas as he returns from the war and is drawn into the family business distilling and running moonshine throughout the South.
