The album "Early Damage" by Urban Verbs was released in 1980. Urban Verbs was an experimental new wave band from Washington, D.C., founded by vocalist Roddy Frantz, guitarist Robert Goldstein, bassist Linda France, keyboardist Robin Rose, and drummer Danny Frankel. The album was produced by Jeff Glixman known for his work with Kansas, Allman Brothers, Gary Moore and Black Sabath to name a few and Steve Lillywhite known from his work with major artists such as Simple Minds, Ultravox, Big Country, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Talking Heads, U2 and The Rolling Stones. "Early Damage" has been praised for it's innovative blend of post-punk, new wave, and experimental rock influences. The lyrics are often introspective and poetic, while the music is a dynamic mix of rhythmic complexity and atmospheric textures.
