More Info:

"Bach: The Art of the Fugue, BWV 1080 Volume I Fugues 1-9" recorded on the Casavant organ at All Saint's Church, Kingsway, Toronto, Canada, Glenn Gould talks about the influence and architecture of Bach's music and his own philosophy of classical music. He performed Johann Sebastian Bach's fugue, the remaining items in The Art of the Fugue are absent from his discography. The Art of the Fugue was meant to demonstrate all the possibilities of contrapuntal writing, which had occupied Bach since his youth.
