More Info:

Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent yellow coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. The American singer, keyboardist, bassist, songwriter, and author Erik Tagg is known for his smooth jazz and pop music style. He began his musical career in the Netherlands as band member of Beehive (1973-1974) and Rainbow Train (1975-1979). Rendez-Vous, his second solo album, released in 1977 and produced by Hans Vermeulen from Rainbow Train, can be characterized by it's mellow melodies and sophisticated arrangements, often blending elements of jazz, pop, and rhythm & blues. The album has a distinctive late Seventies soft rock and jazz fusion vibe and feels like a celebration of romantic escapism and lyrical storytelling. Each track is crafted with intricate harmonies and lush arrangements that together with Erik Tagg's soulful voice evokes a sense of nostalgia and warmth.
