Colin Baker's first full season as the Sixth Doctor opens with "Attack of the Cybermen," which finds him and Peri (Nicola Bryant) lured back to 1985 Earth-and the London junkyard from 1963's "An Unearthly Child"-where they must keep the cyborgs and a scheming human businessman from destroying the Earth by diverting Halley's Comet. Trapped in the Punishment Dome on a fear-ruled planet, the Doctor and Peri face one of their most deadly adventures yet, in "Vengeance on Varos." Then, In Victorian England, the Doctor has not one, but two fellow "renegade" Time Lords to deal with when he goes up against the Master (Anthony Ainley) and the lovely but lethal Rani (Kate O'Mara), in "The Mark of the Rani."
