More Info:

OUT OF THE PAST (1947) - Robert Mitchum solidified his tough-guy persona in this film directed by Jacques Tourneur and written by Geoffrey Homes. Add Jane Greer as a beauty up to no good and Kirk Douglas as a mobster with a shark's grin and you have everything you want in a film noir. ANGEL FACE (1952) - Frank (Mitchum) is a regular guy with a steady girl when he crosses paths with the lovely but deadly Diane (Jean Simmons). Betrayals, courtroom thrills and the fire of a woman both dangerous and alluring make this a film noir classic. HOME FROM THE HILL (1960) - Mitchum plays Wade Hunnicutt, a big man casting a big shadow, and Vincente Minnelli directs this sprawling tale of an epic generational clash from Harriet Frank, Jr. And Irving Ravetch's script. George Peppard and George Hamilton appear in early-career roles. THE SUNDOWNERS (1960) - Australian drovers Paddy (Mitchum) and Ida (Deborah Kerr) Carmody have freedom, adventure and love. But the devoted couple is suddenly at odds: Ida wants them to have a farm of their own, and Paddy finds settling down too much for his untethered spirit.
