This self-titled second album from Shift explores a wide variety of topics designed to stir up all those emotions you left behind years ago. Tracks like 'Radiation Poising' and 'Bleed' set out to establish an excitable yet dystopian tone whereas the tracks 'Glory Hole' and 'Slip it in' are the raw but sexually themed John Hughes movies of the album. The contagious gang vocals you'd expect from Shift are there with the songs 'Oops! I killed you' and 'Human Race.' If you were a fan of the first album this is a must have. If you are new to Shift and prefer a whole lot of attitude with your punk rock then buying the self-titled album 'Shift' is a no-brainer.
