More Info:

Barbra Streisand's just-completed concert tour was the live performance of a lifetime. Rather than simply a"greatest hits"show, the production was designed along the autobiographical lines of a one-woman Broadway show. She employed music and stories to reflect on such matters as relationships and social responsibilities.

Reviews:

''Live in Concert 2006'' is a live album by Barbra Streisand which was recorded during her record setting 2006 U.S. tour known as Streisand: The Tour. The double album contains songs recorded at different shows and venues including New York's Madison Square Garden and Washington DC's Verizon Center. Three songs Streisand performed live on the tour with Il Divo are featured on the album.

The album peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200 on 26 May 2007 (62,000 copies). - Wikipedia

Who says musicians have to hit the road to rake in the dough? The notoriously stage-shy Streisand opts for "infrequent" and "exclusive" (and expensive'"no quotes necessary) and routinely cleans up. This was recorded in early October partially in Philly and partially at Madison Square Garden, which means there's an outside (really, really outside) chance that her admonishing a heckler to "shut the f*** up" for interrupting an anti-Bush skit will be immortalized forever. If not, well, "The Way We Were" will have to suffice.
