More Info:

The Montreal based dance collective known as Crescent Street Hustlers are on a mission to revive and modernize the Canadian disco scene, celebrating the great dance music that thrived in that city primarily in the late 1970s, at the height of the global disco explosion. One of their favorite artists from that era was Andre Gagnon, the late Canadian pianist, arranger, composer, and actor, known for his fusion of classical and pop styles - who became very popular in the disco and pop fields. Among his many hits was the 1976 single, a funky percussive instrumental, simply titled "Surprise" which still holds up well all these years later. The Crescent Street Hustlers pay tribute to Gagnon with their own modern version of the disco masterpiece. The new single features 3 original mixes, including a radio mix, disco mix, and a bonus stripped-down element mix for this exclusive release.
